Falck - Group 4 Securicor

The Challenge

Falck (a Group 4 Securicor company) is a Nordic-based organization that provides assistance, rescue, healthcare and training to the public sector. They also cater to private members, business subscribers, insurance companies, pension companies and international clients. The company’s ambition over the next few years is to develop Falck into a pan-European organization, and to achieve global status in certain sectors.

Falck’s estonian customers started to complain about poor web usability and navigability on http://www.falck.ee/. In December of 2005, Falck decided to change their website´s design and content management system (CMS). They began to look for a new system with several requirements in mind, such as fast page load, user-friendliness, a simple administration interface, an unlimited number of subdomains and different language capabilities. After careful investigation, Falck chose to move forward with Modera products.

The Solution

With a very simple and intuitive design approach, Modera redesigned Falck’s entire website. The new site was divided into two main sections: one for private clients and one for business clients. On the front page of the site, visitors can choose the section which pertains to them. This feature results in more relevant content being displayed, which provides a better user experience. After the redesign, Falck’s number of site visitors doubled in just one month. The new website utilizes Modera’s powerful content management system (CMS) – Modera Webmaster.
